ABOUT LINDA BOOKER
By the Brook Productions founder
Linda Booker's professional experience includes over 13 years
as a graphic designer and art director in the publications
field after graduating from Florida State University. She
completed the Certificate in Documentary Studies program through
Duke University in 2005 and expanded her graduation project
Millworker the Documentary into a 40-minute film.
The documentary screened at the Sometime in October Film Festival
in Wilmington, NC and Indie Memphis Film Festival in 2005
In 2001 Linda received the North Carolina
Governor's Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service and for
over a decade has served as a volunteer and supporter for
Family Violence & Rape Crisis, Chatham Together (as a
youth mentor) and more recently Heads Up! Therapeutic Riding
Program. She has coordinated numerous fund-raising events
as well as the creation and opening of Second Bloom, a thrift
boutique benefiting victims of domestic violence.
Linda resides by a brook in beautiful Chatham County, NC with her husband, and their menagerie of cats, dogs and horses.
